With each passing day, we create something out of nothing through technology, and we find a way to make our lives easier and reach our desires more easily by utilizing the existing ones. Just as we have to live intertwined with technology, each country has to develop within itself. Development means having a say in world affairs. Our ability to use technology efficiently determines how much we are on the world stage. It is a major measure of a country’s production power. It is now obvious that brainpower, not labor power, dominates production. Following the mechanization process that has been going on for many years since the French Revolution, we now produce robots; and use their systems at points where the human brain cannot make rational decisions. When the system in all countries around the world reaches this point, your staying away from technological developments will only hinder your national development. Technology determines your success in all fields of science, industry, manufacturing, and even defense. The only thing to do in this case is to follow the developments closely, to use them in the best, most efficient way, and even to develop them. Each new technological product our country produces has an important role in increasing Turkey’s prestige. We must our youth to entrepreneurship and increase the amount of production by improving the existing conditions and opportunities. We need to work harder, raise our nation and state to better places, and even aim to be the pioneer of technological developments. In the words of Ataturk: “The Turkish nation is intelligent, the Turkish nation is hardworking.” there is nothing that the Turkish nation cannot do for its homeland.
